Nahum 1:6
"Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the
fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the
rocks are thrown down by him"
Why is it throughout the Bible that God pours out His wrath on the
people? And when His wrath is poured out is it a just wrath? Does He
call out to them through prophets to turn from their sins, repent and
be Holy unto Him only to be denied by those of whom He created to
worship Him and who He desires to walk in relationship with?
We see in Jeremiah 23 25-29 the Bible says,
"I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name,
saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed. How long shall [this] be in the
heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, [they are] prophets of
the deceit of their own heart; Which think to cause my people to forget
my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as
their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal. The prophet that hath a
dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my
word faithfully. What [is] the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD. [Is]
not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer [that]
breaketh the rock in pieces?"
All throughout the Bible we see God sending prophets to lead the
people into right relationship with Him. Unfortunately most the time it
would take sudden catastrophe or major destruction upon the lands
before the people would stop and say, "Hey wait a minute didn't God say
for us to worship Him? And the way we worship Him is through love, and
if we love Him then wouldn't we obey Him?" (Deuteronomy 27:10)
We can trace this all the way back to when Moses went upon the
mountain with God when He was speaking unto Him the Ten Commandments.
While Moses was gone the people became impatient and when he returned
they were worshipping a golden calf (Exodus 32:19).
However, we see in Jeremiah that there are also prophets sent of
themselves that prophesy lies who have been deceived even within
themselves. One must be careful to test the spirits (I John 4:1) of
individuals to discern whether they be from God or not. These people
have gotten so caught up in sharing "their vision" that they truly feel
it is "God's vision". They end up having multitudes chasing them and
chasing their vision rather than chasing God and the vision that God
has so ordained for each person individually and as a corporate body.
We see in
Daniel 5:20 it says,
"But when his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride,
he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from
him:"
God speaking of Nebuchadnezzar who at first praised God for what
God had done for him and his kingdom. However, Nebuchadnezzar loses
focus of his call and his purpose and from where the blessing came
from. He stood over his kingdom and spoke of "all that he had
accomplished" and "his vision coming to pass by his power". God struck
Him down which you can read further into this by reading my blog titled
"The Writing on the Wall" to see what idol god's they were worshipping,
which are the same that false prophets are serving today.
I don't feel they are doing it on purpose, but they become blinded
by the deception that Satan uses to misguide those called by God who
are not foundationally stable. Satan's biggest and easiest way to
infect the body of Christ is through "The Church". He does this through
manipulation and witchcraft, which is idol worship.
God's word clearly states throughout the history of the Bible,
that God would first address the Kings and those of whom He had
appointed to the headship of a particular body. Whether it be a priests
or a whether it be a prophet unto a King. He would first confront their
sin from the top and if it was not acknowledged and responded to in the
proper manner He would warn them many times over. If the people ignored
and lifted up their hearts in a prideful manner and boasted of their
"Glory" then the fire of God would fall on them and judgment would be
made.
Today we see the same thing happening but in a different context
with different circumstances and situations. I seriously feel that if
the Church of America does not wake them selves up that God will.
Isaiah 56:10-12
"His watchmen [are] blind: they are all ignorant, they [are] all dumb
dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. Yea,
[they are] greedy dogs [which] can never have enough, and they [are]
shepherds [that] cannot understand: they all look to their own way,
every one for his gain, from his quarter. Come ye, [say they], I will
fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow
shall be as this day, [and] much more abundant."
I don't claim to be a prophet, nor do I claim to be a wise
Christain. I simply pray for God to guide me to a scripture that He
wants me to study and then I let the Holy Spirit guide me when I write
what I study. I don't know who reads these blogs, the only thing that
is important to me is that I share what God lays on my heart and that
is out of obedience to Him.
One way we can determine if our "watchman and shepards are
sleeping, causing a deep sleep over the body" is by comparing our
society with the societies in the Bible. Do you think God would be
pleased with our society? Excuse me that is an idiotic question. The
correct question there would be, do you seriously think God would be
pleased with the church today?
Luke 12:56
"[Ye] hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?"
Let's see we have homosexual pastors. We have pedophiles serving
in the church. We have fornicators ministering to other fornicators. We
have money hungry evangelists instead of soul hungry evangelists. There
are more divorces in the body of Christ then there are in those who
aren't saved. There are just as many teen pregnancies in "Christian
girls" as there are in professing bisexual Satanists. Most evangelical
churches will condemn homosexuals all the way to the gates of hell but
won't say anything to their youth leaders or worship leaders who are
living with their significant others without being married. Most of the
population of Christians thinks that being "saved" means simply that
they aren't going to hell. Every denomination thinks they are the only
one's going to Heaven and God forbid you try to talk to someone about
the saving grace of Christ if they think people should be baptized
differently or that the gifts of the spirit are no longer in operation.
I Peter 4:18
"And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and
the sinner appear?" This to me is saying that saved cannot be separated
from the ungodly and the sinner.
Pretty much sums up the body of Christ today.
I Corinthians 3:13 says,
"Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it,
because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every
man's work of what sort it is."
I feel that God will use His messengers to reveal the truth of
those who are rightly walking in spirit and truth in His Word. You know
one thing about fire is that the darkness can never stay hidden around
fire. Fire always lights up that of which lurks unrevealed to the naked
eye. However we see in
Hebrews 1:7 the Bible says,
"And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire."
I believe the angels of God are going to and fro in these days. Bringing into the light those as the Bible says in
Luke 3:17
"Whose fan [is] in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and
will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with
fire unquenchable."
Leviticus 6:13 says
"The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out."
I pray that those called into this relationship with God, whomever
and however you choose to serve Him. I pray that we will all come into
agreement to fall on our faces before God on the altar. With our
countries iniquities, with our churches iniquities, with our own
personal iniquities and burn them with tears unto the Lord. It is long
past due that we truly read
II Corinthians 7:14
"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves,
and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will
I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their
land."
See God does not say when sinners turn from sin, He says when HIS
PEOPLE turn from their wicked ways and seek His face, THEN He will
forgive their sin and heal their land.
Some of you may not read all of my blogs, though if you did, they
go in an order of things that God reveals to me so some things may not
make sense unless I explain briefly; so in
Ezekiel 8 16-18 the Bible says,
"And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD'S house, and,
behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and
the altar, [were] about five and twenty men, with their backs toward
the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they
worshipped the sun toward the east. Then he said unto me, Hast thou
seen [this], O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah
that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have
filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to
anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose. Therefore will I
also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity:
and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, [yet] will I not
hear them."
Now there are vastly important notations in this scripture first
we see that they are in the inner court of the Lord's house, which is
the most precious area to God. However, between the "porch and the
altar" which is where in (Joel 2:17) God is seeking for ministers and
priests to be weeping for the souls unto God to spare His people; we
see about 25 men here with their backs toward the temple of the Lord.
In other words they had turned their back on God yet they were standing
in the inner courts, oh my God I am getting stirred up just writing
this. It's crazy. However, that is not the most revealing part of this
scripture. It says they stood in the inner courts of the Lord's house
with their backs toward God WORSHIPPING THE SUN! (Which is known as
Satan-hence idol worship-hence writings on the wall-hence-fallen
angels).
Satan's biggest manipulation is to boast men up full of pride. To
have them looking proudly upon their congregations as though they have
arrived at some mountaintop of majesty and rule over a people. As
though they have built something themselves. God will not hear those
who stand in His presence full of abominations and false cries or
pretenses. Pride comes before a great fall, as Satan himself
demonstrated. God will in due time exalt those who humble themselves,
but the exaltation will come after the angels of the Lord have
separated the wheat and the chaff and the true worshippers shall come
forth in spirit and truth.
I am going to close here with the words spoken unto Jeremiah to speak unto the people of the Lord.
Jeremiah 7:1-11
"The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying, Stand in the
gate of the LORD'S house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear
the word of the LORD, all [ye of] Judah, that enter in at these gates
to worship the LORD. Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel,
Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this
place. Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the LORD, The
temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, [are] these. For if ye
throughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye throughly execute
judgment between a man and his neighbour; [If] ye oppress not the
stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in
this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt: Then will I
cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your
fathers, for ever and ever. Behold, ye trust in lying words, that
cannot profit. Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear
falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye
know not; And come and stand before me in this house, which is called
by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations? Is
this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your
eyes? Behold, even I have seen [it], saith the LORD."
Jeremiah 7:23
"But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be
your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I
have commanded you, that it may be well unto you."
Are you striving for it to be well unto you? If the fire of God
were to shine so upon your life what would it reveal out of the
darkness? Are your offerings of sacrifice out of want for earthly
things, or out of desire for a kingdom connection of holiness and
worship unto the Father with clean hands and a pure heart?
But for the grace and mercy of God had I not been given the chance
each day that I awake and each night that I lay my head down to rest
and throughout every hour of every day I seek His guidance and His
wisdom and direction. I seek His forgiveness, His love and His kindness
with great respect for His wrath toward sin.
Hebrews 12: 28-29
"Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have
grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly
fear: For our God [is] a consuming fire."
